Application for the Registration of a New Association.

Required Documents and Guidelines
- Application Form for the Registration of an Association
Fill-in the online application form, print and submit it to the Registrar.
Support the Application for the Registration of an Association with an affidavit (the version in the application form, or a separate one).
The founders of the Association will sign the affidavit in the original and in the presence of a lawyer.
Sometimes, a declaration of the circumstances for establishing the Association may be required on behalf of the Registrar. In such cases, the declaration will be signed by two Association Committee members or by the founders, if a committee has not been elected.
The declaration should include a statement that it has not been established pursuant to one of the following: striking-off another association, not receiving a confirmation of adequate management to another association by the Registrar or the irregularities of another association.
Regarding the Articles of Association, state one of the following alternatives:
- Attached is a proposed Articles of Association for the Association;
- Adopt the standard Articles of Association from the first addendum of the Associations Law.
- Adopt the standard Articles of Association from the first addendum of the Associations Law and incorporate changes.
Attach the requested articles of Association to the application except if the standard Articles of Association was adopted without changes.
Should the application for registration lack reference to Articles of Association, the standard Articles of Association from the first addendum of the Associations Law 5740-1980 will apply.
pay the application for registration fees and the cost of publication in the Records through the internet website or the Postal Bank after receiving a payment slip at the offices of the Registrar of Associations at the Israeli Corporations Authority.
Alternatively, founders of an association with an annual turnover that does not exceed NIS 300,000 and which will not pay any form of salary, are entitled to add a declaration to that effect signed in the presence of a lawyer, and pay a reduced fee.
Following the submission by the founders of all the required documents, the Registrar will approve the registration of the Association, will publish a notice to that effect in the Records, register the association in the Registrar of Associations and provide it with a registration certificate.
Amendment of Section 18 of the standard Articles of Association - authorized signatories
- Full payment of the Application for Registration Fee (including publication in the Records).
- Reduced payment of the Application for Registration reduced fee for applicants
submitting a declaration of payment - reduced fees (including publication in the Records).

Standard Articles of Association - within 10 working days from the date documents were received at the offices of the Authority.
Special Articles of Association - within 21 working days from the date documents were received at the offices of the Authority.
