Department of Emergency, Information Security and Cyber


​The department's activities are guided by the following bodies:

  1. The Israel Police, in the field of physical security, as derives from the "Regulation of Security in Public Bodies Law, 5758-1998";
  2. The General Security Service (GSS), in the realm of information security, as derives from the "General Security Service Law" and the "Regulation of Security Law";
  3. In the realm of the Minister's security, as derives from Government Decision No. 17/B.

 The Department seeks the general public's cooperation in its sphere of activity.

Leakage of Sensitive Information


We urge you to report any leakage of sensitive information or unlawful publication you encounter, exposing a document of the Ministry of Justice or a judgment/verdict, which harms individual privacy, published in one of the following ways:  
  •  In the press
  • Over the Internet: website publications, online rulings forums, emails, etc.
  • Through documents that arrived at wrong destinations via fax, email, etc.
  • Information security loopholes in technology systems that provide services to citizens.
