The Israeli Law, Information and Technology Authority (ILITA), Israel’s data protection regulator and the host of the 32nd International Conference of Data Protection and Privacy Commissioners, is responsible for information collected on this website for registration and other services related to the conference.

This Privacy Policy is governed by Israeli law and subject to the Protection of Privacy Law, 5681-1981 (PPL).
ILITA is the owner-controller of the database which holds this data, which is registered in the Database Register. The database’s registration number is 880003784. The database is operated by a third party processor, the conference organizing contractor, Ortra Ltd, and its subcontractors. Ortra Ltd., and its subcontractors, are subject to strict legal obligations to comply with this Privacy Policy.

The information collected through this site includes identified information collected directly from you, such as your name, name of your accompanying guest (if relevant), occupation, address, email, and payment-related information. In some cases, information related to your accommodation plans or other tourist services is collected in order to provide these services.

In addition, information which may or may not be identifiable is automatically collected concerning your interaction with this site; such as the domain name of your Internet access provider, your Internet protocol (IP) address, the pages you view, and the information you search for.

The use of your information is strictly for the purposes of registration to the conference, participation in its events, reservation of accommodation and tourist services, and response to your inquiries. Your information is not transferred or shared with any third party, except our partners for the purpose of processing payments or providing your accommodation or tourist services.

The contact details collected on this site will be used to contact you regarding future International Data Protection and Privacy Commissioners Conference, if you consent to this use by checking the relevant part in the Registration Form.

This website provides links to third party websites, which may be governed by different privacy policies. ILITA does not assume responsibility for the information practices of such other websites, and encourages you to review those privacy policies yourself.

Standard security safeguards are implemented, including strict access controls, to protect your information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction.

The period of retention of your information will only be for as long as it is necessary for the purposes stated above.
According to the Israel PPL, a data subject in entitled to request access to the data held about him or her. If the data is incorrect the data subject is entitled to request the correction of the information. Such a request should be addressed to ILITA.
