The Israeli Law, Information and Technology Authority (ILITA) will host the "Issues in Privacy: the Spanish Approach Conference" in Tel Aviv, on May 10th, 2010.
The speakers in the conference are leading privacy and data protection experts in Spain:

Ms. Nieves BUISAN, Judge of Administrative Spanish High Court
Ms. Lourdes SANZ, Judge of Administrative Spanish High Court
Mr. Rosario GARCÏA, Member of the Central Electoral Committee & Former General Director of Internal Policy (Spanish MoI)
Mr. Jesus RUBÍ, Deputy Director (AEPD)
Mr. Jose LÓPEZ, Head of the Inspection Department (AEPD)
The speakers will cover various issues such as Privacy in the Internet age, Privacy and sensitive data, Defending Citizens against privacy attacks, Protection of personal data in the electoral process and more.
This conference is part of the Twinning project between ILITA and the AEPD, funded by the European Commission.
The conference will take place on Monday May 10th, 2010 between 9:00-13:00, in the "Salon de Actos" in the 2nd floor of the Cervantes Instituto, on 7 Shulamit St., Tel Aviv (map of the area). Please be advised, that there are no parking arrangements, and it is best to arrive using public transportation. Nearby parking lots: Dizingoff Center and Ahuzot Hof on 28 Frishman st.
The conference will be held in Spanish and will include simultaneous translation.
