Internal Auditing and Public Enquiries

Internal Auditing Division

 

The internal auditing division deals with the performance of audits in the ministry's units and with liaison with the State Comptroller's Office and the Prime Minister's Office regarding the State Audit.

 

By definition, internal auditing is an independent evaluation function that is established within an organization with the objective of examining and evaluating its workings as a service to the organization. Internal auditing is aimed at assisting the members of the organization in the efficient performance of their duties.

 

The authority, functions and tasks of internal auditing are defined in the Internal Auditing Law-1992.

Customer Enquiries Unit

The Customer Service Unit deals with providing a response to the public's enquiries and complaints regarding issues relating to operations of the Ministry of Justice and comprises a section of the Internal Auditing Division.
